“Hawai’i Island’s beauty is unsurpassed, not only in the climate and the natural resources found within the land and sea but also in the sacred culture and sense of community throughout the islands. Native Hawaiian real estate agent, Brandy Shibuya was born and raised in a small rural town on the southern most tip of the United States and describes her home as “being the most pristine untouched sacred land, holding the most powerful ancient Hawaiian history.” Brandy served as an Hawaii island ambassador in 2012 where she held two titles Miss Kona Coffee 2011-2012 and Miss Aloha Hawaii 2012 competing for the Miss Hawaii America scholarship pageant. I’m hopes to represent her love for her people and Hawaii.
Her platform focuses on quality time strengthening children, youths and communities of which her year of service intel communication engagement working besides the Mayor, collaboration of impactful events, conducted hula performances, public speaking and hosted various campaigns. Brandy’s family founded an educational program called Hana lau lima Lahui ‘O Ka’u. The objective of this program is to educate the people about Ka’u and Hawaii understand Native Hawaiian culture and learn how to become more self-sufficient.
As a native Hawaiian, her family is well-versed in Hawai‘i’s family core values, connection with aloha a'ina and the people. Brandy believes in cultivating a deeper understanding of her clients and focuses on building long lasting relationships. Before entering the field of real estate, Brandy was a top performer in sales production and her manager at the time mentioned that she should look into getting her real estate license.
